After earning his Masters Degree at the University of Kentucky, working for GE-Energy, and being granted a Six-Sigma certifcation (as well as 4 patents), founder Chetan Velkur wanted to give back to his hometown and other small cities. Inspired by his mother — a gynaecologist who trained and mobilized a team of small-town nurses — and Dr. Sridhar Mitta of Wipro / NextWealth, Chetan moved back home to Chittoor to start Kriya Nextwealth in 2010 with just a 5-member team. In 2014, Raghu Nath R invested in the vision and relocated from Bangalore to Chittoor to join him. And since then, our team has built processes, leveraged emerging technology, and utilized engineering and corporate experience to create a truly world-class operation that employs over 1,900+ people across 5 cities.
